The vast majority of the jewelry in the store is handcrafted and designed by Filis.  Each piece is designed with care and special attention to detail.  Filis incorporates a heart of various sizes to each piece as her signature touch.  Only the finest stones, pearls, crystals and silver available are used in her pieces.  Sterling silver is most often used in many pieces as clasps and part of the design throughout a piece.

Filis can custom make jewelry upon request.  Ranging from a variety of earing styles, including clip on earings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, bookmarks; just a wide variety of one-of-a kind fashionable accessories.

Each piece of jewelry includes a written description of the meaning of the stones.

Eliza B. sandals are another fashionable shoe found at market.  Eliza B. shoes are custom made, which makes ordering and delivery about an 8 week process.  The wait is worth it!!  We currently only carry the Eliza B. shoes in a cork wedge and small variety between patent leather straps or designer cloth straps.  Because cork is a renewable resource, the cork wedges are eco-friendly.  They are naturally water resistant!

The creator of the Eliza B. shoes is none other than a young women named Eliza B.  Her facinating story of how she created her own shoe line is an inspiration to all.

Thoughts of the Day-Archive

We carry a line of inspirational books in the store from Compendium.  We love these books, and we love sharing them, because no matter what our line of work, or what part of the path we find ourselves on we all need  to be inspired to think bigger, more creatively, more passionately, more humanely.  Even when the world seems to be in a tail spin, we are the solution and together we must continue to remind each other of that fact.  Come get inspired!  We will keep a running log here of the quotations we use on the web…the majority of which will be found on our shelves.

Believe it! High expectations are the key to everything. Sam Walton

11/5  I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career.  I have lost almost 300 games.  On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot…and misssed.  I have failed over and over again in my life.  And that is why I succeed.  Michael Jordan

10-11-08  "We are not going to succeed in everything we attempt in life. That’s a guarantee. In fact, the more we do in life, the more chance there is not to succeed in some things. But what a rich life we are having! Win or lose, we just keep winning." Susan Jeffers

"You alone, of all the animals, have the ability to reconstruct what has gone before, to learn from it, and to envision the future shape of things to come.  What a faculty!  Why waste it on meaningless pursuits? "  Don Ward

"The Problems of the world cannot be solved by skeptics or cynics….we need men and women who can dream of things that never were".   John F. Kennedy

"Take out your brain and jump on it – it gets all caked up".  Mark Twain

"One person may supply the idea for a company, community or nation, but what gives the idea its force is a community of dreams". Andre Malraux

"We can scare ourselves or inspire ourselves….We are the architects of our own attitudes and experiences. We design the world by the way we choose to see it". Barry Neil Kaufman

"When you come to the edge of all the light you have, and must take a step into the darkness of the unknown, believe that one of two things will happen. Either there will be something solid for you to stand on- or you will be taught how to fly." Patrick Overton

"Delicious autumn!  My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns."
George Eliot

"The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation that you ever had." Anonymous

"I dared to dream big dreams, and then I willed them to happen, I’m convinced that most people can achieve their dreams and beyond if they have the determination to keep trying."  Howard Schultz.
